Synopsis

With recent technological advancements and as companies go digital, the use of big data is becoming more beneficial for corporations. Big data can boost companies’ competitive edge through data mining and data analytics. As Southeast Asia’s big data hub, Singapore stands to benefit tremendously – the value of regional big data and business analytics services is expected to reach about S$37 billion by 2022.

Discover+: Big Data, co-organised by SGTech, provides students with the opportunity to hear from experienced professionals from organisations like GovTech, Microsoft Singapore, TAIGER, and more! Through Discover+: Big Data, students can find out more about careers in the sector, and learn how best to position themselves for careers in this exciting field.

The Discover+ Series is a series of events, delivered through online digital solutions and sponsored by Workforce Singapore, which give students the chance to speak directly with working professionals and learn about careers they aspire to enter.
