Synopsis

From talent acquisition, to development and diversity, careers in the Human Resource (HR) space play an important role in building and developing a firm’s talent pipeline. In 2017, Minister Josephine Teo highlighted that work done by HR professionals is key to unlocking the potential of Singapore’s businesses to adapt and transform. With Singapore hosting regional headquarters of global firms, many of the 48,000 HR professionals here oversee not just talents in Singapore, but also in the wider Asia Pacific.

Discover+: Human Resource provides students with the opportunity to hear from experienced professionals from organisations like Frasers Property Limited, GIC, Grab, the Public Service Division, Prime Minister’s Office, Singapore Human Resources Institute, and Twitter! Through Discover+: Human Resource, students can find out more about careers in the human resource sector and learn how best to position themselves for careers in this exciting field.

The Discover+ Series is a series of events, delivered through online digital solutions and sponsored by Workforce Singapore, which gives students the chance to speak directly with working professionals and learn about careers they aspire to enter.
