Synopsis
International development is primarily driven by the 17 Sustainable Development Goals, which include efforts to end poverty, fight inequalities, and tackle climate change. Through the establishment of the Singapore Cooperation Programme in 1992, Singapore has taken concrete steps to share its development experience and provide technical assistance in areas of water and sanitation, sustainability, and climate action.
Discover+: International Development, co-organised by Advisory and the UNDP Global Centre for Technology, Innovation and Sustainable Development in Singapore (GCTISD), provides students with the opportunity to hear from professionals working in organisations such as Asian Development Bank (ADB), International Monetary Fund (IMF), UNDP GCTISD, Worldwide Fund for Nature (WWF), and more! Through Discover+: International Development, students can find out more about careers in the international development landscape and learn how best to position themselves for careers in this exciting field.
The Discover+ Series is a series of events, delivered through online digital solutions and sponsored by Workforce Singapore, which gives students the chance to speak directly with working professionals and learn about careers they aspire to enter.
