Synopsis

Singapore has one of the highest social media penetration rates in the world. In 2020, 79 percent of its 5.83 million residents are found to be active users of social media. Recognising this, many companies have turned towards social media platforms to promote and market their products to a growing audience of social media users. Roles in this field are diverse, ranging from areas such as product policy to engineering and data analytics.

Discover+: Social Media, co-organised by Advisory and Facebook, provides students with the opportunity to hear from experienced professionals from organisations like Facebook, TikTok, and more! Through Discover+: Social Media, students can find out more about careers in the sector, and learn how best to position themselves for careers in this exciting field.

The Discover+ Series is a series of events, delivered through online digital solutions and sponsored by Workforce Singapore, which give students the chance to speak directly with working professionals, and learn about careers they aspire to enter.
