Despite a booming technology sector, women’s representation in technology continues to lag behind many other industries. According to a 2020 report by the World Economic Forum, global female enrollment in STEM-related fields in higher education is particularly low. In Southeast Asia, women have a mere 32% share in the technology workforce. 

Ladies’ Night: Women in Tech, co-organised by Advisory and Kaspersky, provides students with the opportunity to hear from female professionals from Kaspersky, including Anastasia Shamgunova, Genie Sugene Gan, Margrith Appleby, Noushin Shabab, Sandra Lee, and Shan Loy! Through Ladies’ Night: Women in Tech, students can find out more about the trends and prospects in the technology space and how to best prepare themselves for a career in this space.

Recognising that women are under-represented in many industries and often face gender-related barriers in the workplace, the Ladies’ Night panel, supported by Kaspersky, aims to bring girls and women together to share their personal and professional experiences in a no-holds-barred format.
